Docker

Build and run Briefen as a single container. Ollama must be running externally.

Quick Start (full stack via Compose)

docker compose --profile app up -d --build

This starts Ollama (with model pulls) and the Briefen app. The app is available at http://localhost:8080.

Build the Image

docker build -t briefen .

Run Standalone

docker run --rm -p 8080:8080 \
  -e OLLAMA_BASE_URL=http://host.docker.internal:11434 \
  -v briefen_data:/data \
  briefen

Environment Variables

Makefile Targets

make docker-build   # Build the Docker image
